Drip irrigation introduced to solve paddy problem

An Israeli company has developed a drip irrigation system to grow rice to replace the flooded paddy, which has supplied the world with rice for generations but caused surprising damage to the environment.
According to the United Nations-backed continuous rice platform, rice is the staple food for more than half of the global population, but its cultivation uses 30-40% of the world’s fresh water and is responsible for 10% of man-made emissions of the greenhouse rice platform.
